She is a Promoter and Director of The Hinditron Group of companies, where she has been responsible for starting and managing the Telecommunication business of the Group and for driving new business initiatives. She served as a Member of Advisory Board at of Frontier Markets Consulting Private Limited. She is also an active angel investor, and has mentored and invested in several innovative companies across sectors. Ms. Mariwala is very active in the entrepreneurial ecosystem through her association with professional bodies like TiE Stree Shakti (Core Team), Dell Women Entrepreneurs Network, Indian Merchants Chamber, Computer Society of India, Stanford University Alumni Association. She is involved in various capacities with academic institutions and business incubators. She has several publications and patents to her credit in the fields of Astrophysics and Optical Communication. She has over 20 years of entrepreneurial and operational experience with technology companies in United States and India. Ms. Mariwala holds an M.S. in Applied Physics from Stanford University, USA and B.Sc. in Physics from St. Xavier’s college, Mumbai.
