At LetsVenture we believe in listening - to the market signals, to our investors and the founders we work with. For us LetsIgnite has never been about an event. It is our way of strengthening our relationship with our investor and founder community - it is a platform for us to make our voice heard, and of course hear what the market has to say. The event is also an early peek into our vision and road map for the year.
Going back, 2015 theme was "Rise of the new angel investor" where we began to see the change in angel behavior towards adapting an online platform for startup discovery, connect and investment. 2016 theme was "Angel Investing 2.0 - Lead Investing". It was the first time that a lead investor pitched along with a founder at an event. 2017, as a natural progression, was themed as "Driving Angel Exits". We did drive conversations around exits and also launched an angel report around exits the ecosystem has seen.The theme for 2018 is "Beyond Boundaries". 2018 will see the envelope being pushed and boundaries broken. LetsVenture as a platform will be scaling into new geographies. We already announced our partnership with OurCrowd, Israel's largest crowd funding platform. 2018 will see newer geographies added.We will also see family offices break traditional investing boundaries and start to directly invest into startups, along with uHNI's engaging with this asset class more actively. Policy and regulations are today showing signs of creating a more supportive environment for investing.Join us for sector-focused panels with the government, institutional investors, prolific angels, stock markets, family offices and letsventure team. Participate in conversations around stepping outside the traditional norms. Be part of closed-door round-tables with Stock Exchanges, prolific angel investors, and corporates around Exits.Not to forget; 15 of India’s hottest startups will be pitching with their Lead investors at the event chosen from 1200+ startup applications after a 5 step curation process. LetsIgnite is also going beyond boundaries, and for the first time we are taking LetsIgnite to Mumbai & Bangalore with the main event in New Delhi.
Startups as an asset class is poised for growth, and will break many boundaries to become more accessible to investors.
