At LetsVenture, 2014 has been a journey of discovery, learning and validations. We have seen how creating meaningful, intelligent engagement between startups and investors can lead to magic!
The year began on a high note with our first funding closure on January 7th 2014. Since then, LetsVenture has closed funding for 21 startups, ranging from 100k to 850k USD, with a median ask of 200k. Aureus Analytics raised the largest round on LetsVenture at 850k USD.
Over the course of the year our investor count grew from 85 to 760+ from 19 countries. Our team grew from 7 to 15. We now have a presence in Bangalore and Delhi and plan to expand into other cities soon.
Our biggest validation happened over this last quarter in which we have received a high number of referrals from angel investors and high quality startups, confirming that LetsVenture is the preferred platform to raise funds in India.
So let's spread the cheer. With the New Year around the corner, we've decided to make another new beginning by leveraging LetsVenture's network to enable inspiring individuals and organizations make their dreams come true.
We've called it “LetsGiveBack” - as part of this initiative we will showcase one worthy cause every quarter, inviting you to lend your support if you wish. To make it easy for you to contribute, LetsVenture has partnered with Milaap. All contributions will be directed to Milaap website for the cause we are showcasing.
It is our way of saying “Thank you” for all the good will and support we have received to make our dream come true. We believe there is no better way to welcome the New Year than by giving back to those who deserve it most.
